ADELAIDE ATHLETICS HIGHLIGHTS
On the 8th April selected BHS students competed in the School Sport SA Track and Field Championships in Adelaide. Each student displayed hard work and determination and we couldn't be prouder of the way they represented our school.
Congratulations to all students for being selected, giving it a go and doing your best.
RESULTS
Boys Championship Shield - 3rd Place
Girls Championship Shield - 4th Place
Overall Championship Shield - 3rd place
Thank you to Miss Hanson, Mr Jenner and Mrs Hadley for their help on the day and to all parents for your support and encouragement on the sidelines.
CROSS COUNTRY
On Monday the 12th May, nine students travelled to Burra to represent BHS in the Lower North Zone Cross Country event. The boys reported the course to be a tough challenge with highly terrain to conquer over 3km – 6km (depending on their age group). Well done to Angus Wilson, Henry Evans, Henry Reinke, Jackson Stone, Preston Stone, Archer Rundle, Elliot Smith, Chase McCracken and Bodie Seiboth that competed on the day. Congratulations to Angus Wilson and Bodie Seiboth for winning their age groups and Henry Evans who placed second in his age group. Thank you to the parents and family that supported our students to participate on the day with transport and supervision.

YEAR 7s

The Year 7s have been participating in a Movement Unit to learn about the benefits of physical activity and exercise. On Monday of Week 3, 7C participated in a fitness circuit led by Year 12 PE students, Adawynn Hughes and Tait Hadley.

Ads and Tait shared their knowledge of fitness factors and training methods to deliver a fun and engaging workout for 7C. Well done!

CLF BASKETBALL CAMP

This year, as in past years, the annual CLF Basketball Camp will have a guest coach from the NBA.   This camp is an awesome opportunity for junior players to work on court with a current NBA coach.  Previously, I have held these clinics in 2019 (NBA Championship winning Assistant Coach, Mike Longabardi), 2020 (Matt Hill, Assistant Coach for the Atlanta Hawks) and in 2023 (Denver Nuggets Assistant Coach, Charles Klask) and 2024 (Utah Jazz Assistant Coach, Evan Bradds).

This year the guest coach will be Golden State Warriors Player Development Coach, Noel Hightower.
