VOLUNTEERING IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Volunteering within your local community is vital as it fosters a sense of connection and belonging while supporting local needs, organisations and projects. Volunteering not only strengthens community bonds but promotes personal growth and teaches valuable skills. Ultimately our community is stronger when we give something back to it.
Last week, students assisted the Wakefield Regional Council in plating trees at Whitwarta as part of their campaign to plant 1000 trees throughout the council region for National Tree Day.
It was great to make a small contribution to our community and enjoy the clean fresh air and green paddocks.
