SCIENCE WEEK IS COMING...
This year’s theme is GLASS: More Than Meets the Eye to coincide with the UN International Year of Glass. It will celebrate the many roles that glass plays in our lives – from phone screens to optical fibre to glassware in labs – plus investigating glass as a part of our sustainable future. Next week and the following week, Weeks 3 and 4, students will take part in a range of activities related to glass. It's going to be very classy with all things glassy! A BLAST of GLASS will occur on Thursday, 18 August at lunchtime when students can celebrate Science with glassy fairy floss, stained glass window biscuits, a giant smash experiment and nerf gun knock-em downs. Food and activities will cost a small amount to cover expenses so bring your spare change.
