AUTHOR NIGHT
On Thursday evening on 5th October, Balaklava Community Library held their first ever Author Panel “Love, Crime and Wine @ the Library”, with amazing authors Leonie Kelsall, Karly Lane, Joanne Speirs, Rebecca Heath and Mercedes Mercier. The night began in Performing Arts with Teacher Librarian Tanya Niblett interviewing the authors to a huge crowd that came from far and wide for the event. After the panel, everyone was invited back to the library for wine, nibbles, book buying, signing and mingling with the authors supported by library community assistants Lucy Sutton, Di Taylor and Barb Rodgers.
